It is now confirmed with the results so far released by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC that President Muhammadu Buhari has won Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election, and will serve for another four years when his current tenure expires on May 29, 2019.
President Buhari of APC has been able to win a total number of 19 States against his closest rival of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, who won in 17 States and Federal Capital Territory.
As close as the above numbers look, the major difference is the huge number of votes in some APC stronghold such as Kastina, Kano and Borno who gave Buhari over 3 Million Votes.
