Thespian Dolly Unachukwu has revealed that many actors within the movie industry are going through a lot of depression.
The Nollywood actress made this known at the same time as addressing the problem on her Instagram page. She said that many upcoming and hooked up actors are beneath immense pressure to live the good lifestyles and maintain a sure standard.
She wrote: “I have seen it all within the film enterprise. You don’t want to know how depressed many upcoming and installed Nigerian actors are. The common Nigerian actor is under immense strain to stay the coolest existence and meet up with expected standards.
In the process, there may be no love for one another anymore. It is all pretence, and everyone may be sly and manipulative for the egocentric glory. The culture is very individualistic now, and I can hopefully say that things can be getting worse.
You don’t need to visit the village to peer village people anymore. Village human beings are now within the enterprise.
