Regina Daniels’ Viral Medical Reports on Drug Abuse Are Genuine — Ned Nwoko Confirms
Controversy continues to swirl around Nollywood actress Regina Daniels as her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, publicly confirms that leaked medical documents alleging her substance abuse are genuine. The lawmaker has linked the turmoil in their marriage to her “battle with drugs and alcohol,” stating that the situation poses a serious health risk.
According to Nwoko, toxicology tests carried out during her treatment revealed “dangerously high levels” of substances including marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates, and alcohol. He insists that Regina’s erratic behaviour and violent outbursts stem from her substance dependency, and has called for her to return to rehabilitation urgently.
Nwoko claims that on multiple occasions, he has had to carry her to Nizamiye Hospital after she was allegedly found unconscious due to suspected drug overdose. These reports are raising serious concern not just for her health, but also for the wellbeing of their two children.
Meanwhile, medical records from Serenity Royale Hospital, Abuja cited by media outlets appear to support Nwoko’s claims. Initial detox reports, dated from September to mid-October 2025, reportedly confirm “substance use disorder,” with Regina undergoing a home-based detox program.
In response, the hospital issued a statement denying that it published or leaked the document circulating online. It emphasized that confidentiality is sacred and urged the public to disregard the shared report, adding that the document was not circulated by their management.
