President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has acknowledged the severity of Nigeria’s security challenges, assuring citizens that his administration remains fully committed to overcoming insecurity and restoring lasting peace across the nation.
Speaking during a recent engagement with key stakeholders, the President described insecurity as a “real and pressing challenge,” but stressed that it is not insurmountable. According to Tinubu, decisive actions are already underway to strengthen the country’s security architecture and ensure the safety of lives and property.
The President emphasized that his government is adopting a comprehensive approach that combines intelligence-driven operations, improved inter-agency collaboration, and enhanced support for the nation’s armed forces and security agencies. He noted that tackling insecurity requires not only military action but also economic empowerment, social inclusion, and community engagement.
Tinubu further highlighted the importance of addressing the root causes of violence, including unemployment, poverty, and social dislocation, stating that long-term peace can only be achieved through sustainable development and inclusive governance.
Reaffirming his administration’s resolve, the President urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, assuring them that the government will not relent until peace and stability are restored in all parts of the country.
