Kunle Omisore Opens Up on Failed Marriage, Explains Why He Feels Lonely Despite Having Women Around

Veteran Nollywood actor Kunle Omisore has opened up about the emotional impact of his failed marriage, revealing that he still experiences loneliness despite having women around him.

The Yoruba actor made the disclosure during a recent interview with African A-List, where he discussed his divorce, fatherhood and his hopes for the next phase of his life.

Omisore, who is a father of three, explained that the end of his marriage created an emotional gap that casual companionship cannot easily fill.

According to the actor, having women around him is completely different from having a wife who shares his home, responsibilities and emotional burdens.

“You’ll feel lonely in the house; it’s not like you don’t have a woman who can satisfy you, but that is different from having a wife.”

The veteran actor revealed that there were times when he returned home troubled but deliberately stayed in his parked car for a while before entering the house so his children would not notice that something was wrong.

He explained that marriage provides a unique form of emotional companionship, particularly during difficult moments when a spouse can offer comfort and reassurance.

Omisore also spoke about the difficulty of healing after divorce, saying that while he has chosen not to hold on to the pain, the experience remains a permanent part of his life.

“It’s difficult; it’s only God who can heal a divorcee.”

Despite describing his marriage as unsuccessful, Omisore said he does not consider it a complete failure because it produced children he considers a blessing.

“I didn’t suffer a failed marriage because glorious children came from it,” he said.

Looking ahead, the actor said he hopes to return to Europe, live a quieter life and focus on raising his children according to his spiritual values.

His candid revelation has sparked conversations about the emotional realities of divorce and the difference between having romantic company and experiencing genuine companionship within marriage.

Omisore’s comments also highlight the challenges many divorced parents face while trying to remain strong for their children while privately dealing with loneliness and emotional pain.
