After having her gallbladder removed, Omotola comments, “My stomach isn’t perfect anymore.”
The Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has talked about how her confidence was impacted by an emergency operation she had in 2024.

Omotola talked candidly in November 2024 about overcoming a serious disease that caused her to suffer from crippling chest, back, and stomach discomfort.

She posted a video of herself undergoing medical care at the time, stating that she felt as like she was “dying.”

The actress later disclosed that she had undergone gallbladder removal surgery and was in recovery.
However, Omotola considered how her operation left her with scars but did not undermine her confidence in a Valentine’s Day Instagram post.

The 46-years-old actress revealed she felt self-conscious during a photo shoot because “my tummy is no longer perfect”.

The best present, according to her, is confidence and self-love.

“I had emergency surgery late last year. My stomach is one of my favorite body parts, although it’s not so great right now,” she remarked.

“There is nothing left to show,” a small voice said as I reached for my top during my pose because I had forgotten to do so during the shot.

“Not me! I haven’t made that thing that will make me doubt myself. I danced and grinned. It’s only scars; I’m still alive.

“Today, grin, dance, and be proud, lovely. Some people have mental scars, while others have physical ones. You remain present, and you look darn good too!”
