Autopsy reveals – Drug reaction possible cause of Mohbad’s death

The autopsy of Nigerian singer Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, could not definitively determine his cause of death due to the advanced decomposition of his body. This significant decomposition, resulting from his burial before the autopsy, hindered the pathologists’ ability to ascertain a precise cause​.

However, the pathologist suggested that a drug reaction might have been involved in his death. It was noted that drugs administered to Mohbad before his death could have played a role, although there is no confirmation that these drugs directly caused his death​ ​. Claims that Mohbad was buried alive, strangled, or poisoned were also refuted by the pathologist​ ​.

The inquest into his death continues, with the next session scheduled for June 26, 2024​ .
