Bambam spills, opens up on growing up with strict parents – “I had such a good upbringing, a Deeper Life dad, and a nurse as a mother”
Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Bamike Adenibuyan popularly known as Bambam has given an insight into her growing up life.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Bambam revealed that she grew up with strict parents as her father was a Deeper Life member.
She disclosed that her father thought she would end up a ‘Vagabond’ because of her personality, hence, why he was very strict with her.
Bambam added that the moment she graduated from University, her dad told her, he didn’t want her to get fat on his couch and as such, should learn to survive on her own and not be a liability.
After her NYSC, Bambam left the house and was searching for a platform to showcase her talent, hence why she went into Big Brother’s house.
My parents were very strict, my dad said the moment I graduated, he didn’t want me to get fat on his couch. He said I was on my own and was worried about how I would survive. He didn’t want me to be a liability, so I made it easy for him. After NYSC, I didn’t go back home, I stayed at home.
I had such a good upbringing, a Deeper Life dad, and a nurse as a mother. My dad was worried that I would become a Vagabond.
I needed a platform to be able to showcase my skills, that’s how I landed up on Big Brother”.
