Barcelona striker, Luiz Suarez has finally reacted to forward, Cristiano Ronaldo’s move from Real Madrid to Juventus.
Ronaldo left Madrid as their all-time highest goalscorer to join the Italian giants earlier this summer in a 100-million euro deal.
Speaking on Ronaldo’s departure from the Santiago Bernabeu, Suarez said the Champions League holders are far above any one player and that Ronaldo’s departure won’t be as bad as some think.
“It’s Madrid and it’s above the individual,” Suarez told RAC1 via Mundo Deportivo.
“They have many players of good quality, at a great level and a new coach. A new coach always generates ambitions.
“Both Madrid, as well as Barça, are above. In the Supercopa and the first league games were at a good level, some [players] who were a bit self-conscious now have more prominence.”
