Burna Boy issues a warning following Darlington’s release from prison: “No mercy next time.”

Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning rapper, appears to have sent Speed Darlington a warning after his recent release from jail.
While playing at an event in Owerri, Imo state, on November 27, Darlington was taken into custody. He was charged with cyberstalking Grammy winner Burna Boy.

Due to Burna Boy’s association with the troubled American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is accused of sexual exploitation and human trafficking, Darlington had made fun of him.

He invited Burna Boy, a Diddy-produced project executive, to explain how he won the Grammy for his album “Twice As Tall.” He asserted that the two had a sexual relationship.

Darlington was released on Tuesday after spending two months in the Kuje prison.

Burna Boy warned that if such a situation occurred, there would be no tolerance in a since-deleted Instagram story post.

“You will return to your origins if you like to transgress once more! And there won’t be any leniency this time! He wrote, “Don’t mess with ODG,” but he left names off.

Following Burna Boy’s official accusation, Darlington was first taken into custody by Abuja police in October 2024.

However, after being held by the police for five days, he was freed on bond.
