Direct Entry registration: Low turnout worries JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the registration period for Direct Entry (DE) due to low turnout and various challenges candidates have faced. Initially set to close on March 28, the registration deadline has been extended multiple times, first to April 11 and now further into April. JAMB attributes the low turnout to the new verification processes introduced to combat the submission of fake A’level results, which has slowed down the registration process
