Drake’s $100m Toronto Home Stormed By Knife-Wielding Woman
A knife-wielding woman has been arrested for attempting to invade Canadian rapper, Drake’s $100m Toronto mansion and attacking a security guard with a pipe.
Toronto’s police department told TheSun that an adult female who was carrying around a large blade was arrested outside of the house after attempting to gain entry, while the rapper was home.
It stated;
A female adult that was carrying a knife has been arrested. She did not gain any kind of entry into the property and there were no injuries.
It is not clear what she was doing at the residence but she had no communication whatsoever with the homeowner.
The woman, who has not yet been named, was allegedly confronted by the ‘Hotline Bling’ rapper’s security outside of the mansion’s gate, New York Post reports.
Police detained the woman before she was able to step foot on Drake’s sprawling estate with him being home at the time of the incident.
Though officials confirmed there were no injuries reported, sources told the Toronto Sun that a metal pipe was used to strike a security guard on the property.
Drake’s mansion sits on a two-acre lot and boasts about 35,000 square feet with two saunas, a massage room, a screening room and a full-sized indoor basketball court.
The estate, dubbed ‘The Embassy‘, was built in late 2019 and is worth $100 million, according to RealEstate.com.au. Drake purchased the property in 2015 for $6.7 million.
Meanwhile, the attempted home invasion isn’t the first time the Grammy-winner has had such an incident.
In 2017, a woman was arrested inside Drake’s Los Angeles home after she broke in and drank his soda, water and other refreshments.
Mesha Collins – who was 24 at the time – did not steal anything or damage any items in Drake’s home, according to reports. However, she was found inside the house and arrested on $100,000 bail.
