#EndSARS: Lagos Govt Imposes 24-Hour Curfew
Lagos state government has on Tuesday, October 20 announced a 24-hour curfew until further notice following violence that has erupted in different parts of the state over #EndSARS protests.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement in a statement via his official Twitter page saying;
I have watched with shock how what began as a peaceful #EndSARS protest has degenerated into a monster that is threatening the well-being of our society. Lives and limbs have been lost as criminals and miscreants are now hiding under the umbrella of these protests to unleash mayhem on our state.
