Following A$AP Rocky’s acquittal in the gun assault case, Rihanna says
Following her partner A$AP Rocky’s acquittal in a 2021 gun assault case, Barbados singer Rihanna has spoken out.
Jurors in the high-profile trial, which focused on accusations made by A$AP Relli and featured contradictory accounts of the altercation and the use of a pistol, exonerated A$AP Rocky of all charges.
Rihanna thanked God on social media, stating that all the praise is due to Him.
“God and God alone deserve all the glory. She said, “Thankful, humbled by his mercy!” on her Instagram stories.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Rihanna exhaled a sigh of relief and exclaimed, “Oh my God,” as A$AP Rocky left the courtroom.
A$AP Rocky gave the “Umbrella” crooner and his mother hugs following the jury’s decision. He claimed that the decision had given him his life back.
“Over the past four years, this entire experience has been insane. However, I’m grateful and fortunate to be here at this moment, speaking to you as a free man,” he concluded.
