
Four Dead, Others Injured in Lekki–Epe Expressway Accident
At least four people are confirmed dead and several others sustained injuries in a serious road accident that occurred on the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos State.
The crash, which involved multiple vehicles, caused significant disruption along the busy corridor, prompting a swift response from emergency responders.
According to eyewitness accounts, several vehicles were involved in the collision on the expressway, one of Lagos’ busiest routes connecting the Lekki area to Epe.
Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene to administer first aid, remove wreckage, and assist victims while traffic authorities worked to manage the resulting congestion.
Police confirmed that four people lost their lives as a result of the accident. Several others were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of various injuries.
Medical teams are currently attending to the wounded, and the extent of their conditions has not yet been fully disclosed.
