“GO F**K YOURSELVES!” Angry Neymar Blasts VAR After Controversy Sends PSG Crashing Out Of Champions League
Neymar launched an incredible x-rated rant at VAR after PSG crashed out of the Champions League in controversial fashion against Manchester United.
The Brazilian was furious after Presnel Kimpembe was adjudged to have handled in the penalty area by VAR after the referee had initially given a corner.
Marcus Rashford stepped up for United to put them 3-1 in front of the night and level at 3-3 on aggregate.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side progressed courtesy of away goals after Romelu Lukaku’s first-half brace.
Neymar took to Instagram after the game, and blasted: “This is a disgrace, they put four people that know nothing about football in charge of looking at the replay for VAR.
“There is no penalty. How can it be a handball when it hits his back! Go f*** yourselves!”
Lukaku opened the scoring in just the second minute in the Parc des Princes, rounding Gianluigi Buffon to slot home.
Juan Bernat levelled from Kylian Mbappe’s cross before Lukaku reacted quickest as Buffon spilled the ball to make it 2-1.
PSG looked like they would hang on for a narrow aggregate win before the VAR drama which saw the referee consult a screen at the side of the pitch.
He pointed to the spot and Rashford kept his cool to thrash home the first penalty he has taken as a professional.
“Yeah fantastic, the belief in the boys was just what we hoped for,” said boss Solskjaer.
“It was a great start, we set out a plan to get the first goal – we didn’t expect to get it after two minutes, but that made it more open for us. We wanted many goals in the game.”
