Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, well known as Nedu Wazobia, has refuted claims of fraud brought against him by a number of people.
We are aware that the media figure was charged with financial mismanagement and fraud in relation to the Nedu Scholarship Foundation (NDSCHF).
Nedu invited comedian and reality TV personality Aderombi Adedayo Martin, best known by his stage name Deeone, to the Honest Bunch podcast, which sparked the issue.Martin Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, was a gay man who was accused of being a social media critic during the podcast.

Following that, a number of allegations went viral on the internet that Nedu had embezzled funds intended for the scholarship program.

At a press conference in Lagos, Nedu addressed the accusation, reaffirming his unshakable commitment to social impact, education, and philanthropy while announcing forceful legal action against untrue allegations meant to damage his name.

Nedu emphasized that all monies for the NDSCHF effort were administered by a worldwide recognized social company, guaranteeing complete accountability, and that Nedu never handled or controlled donations directly while speaking through Tokindrumz, the firm that oversees his brand.

“Just to be clear, I don’t know where they got this information from,” said Sarah Williams, Tokindrumz’s chief operations officer. However, I would want to clarify that Mr. Nedu did not engage in any kind of financial mismanagement or fraud.

“Mr. Nedu didn’t handle any of the funds that were made available for this project. It wasn’t paid to him; he did not see the money. He made it clear that he did not want any donations sent to his personal account to maintain transparency and build his legacy.”
