In Ogbomoso, three people fear death after a container falls on a tricycle.
According to reports, a truck carrying containers lost control and collided with a commercial tricycle at Takie Junction at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, killing three people in Ogbomoso.
It was learned that the articulated vehicle lost control while traversing a turn, causing the container to topple and crush the tricycle, known as Keke Mar’wa.
The trike rider and two female passengers were trapped beneath the container, according to an eyewitness who asked to remain anonymous. Rescue operations subsequently verified that all three victims had perished.
In order to prevent more collisions and restore traffic flow in the region, work is currently being done to remove the container from the road.
Authorities have warned drivers to drive carefully.
