Short story about your journey to the music industry ……
My music journey started about 20 years ago, Just singing in the choir as a service unto God back then in Sagamu, Ogun state. I had just moved there at the time. Few years back, when I relocated back to Lagos, I realized church music has changed a great deal and I never thought I could catch up, somewhere along the line I eventually found purpose in it. It’s been a great journey since then especially because I didn’t set out in life to sing but every step along the way proved beyond a doubt this is what I am meant to do.

Describe what your sound is about- It’s a Resound of whatever God is speaking per season, per time.
Exploring different genres but with one focus: Jesus.

Do you think gospel artists are underrated , if yes, Why?
Not really. Rating is a standard used generally. As Christ ambassadors, we are not to be focused on how men rate us, rather how God rates us because at the end of the day it’s all about doing what we have been called.to do. So personally I don’t think much of the rating tag. I focus on the assignment and do my part. If I get recognized, glory to God, if I don’t ,glory to God. In the end it’s all about Him.

What is your take about gospel artists bringing secular slang to their songs?

Let everyone do as they are led. Personally I don’t do trends and it hardly crosses my mind when preparing to minister because it’s always about the assignment. Going by biblical standards, we are not to copy the world. However some have argued that it’s their conviction so I will rather everyone do as they lead. I won’t judge but for me it’s a No.

In a few years time where do you see yourself- Doing the Lord’s work wherever he chooses. Taking territories for Jesus one day at a time using music as a tool to reach the ends of the earth!

The inspiration behind your latest song with Oevans titled “Love You Lord”

We do what we do not because there are no options, but because we are sold out on this assignment of “God +nothing” Pressure does come sometimes, where you ask yourself that one question ” Am I really doing the right thing, but yes we pick ourselves up again because of course we are doing the right thing, not to show off, not to gain anything but to see God glorified in the lives of His people so that when death come we are not afraid “Former.to live is Christ and to die is gain Phil 1:21

What should people expect from you?
Amazing soul lifting songs are on the way and of course eventually an album.

If you are to collaborate with one of the A list artists, who will that be and reasons why.
Can I do 3 maybe… Number one on my list will be Mama Sinach, Pastor Nathaniel and Min Dunsin.
I really can’t choose from this 3

What will you want people to remember about you?
I did my best and gave my all to the ones that He sent me to!

Trust the process… Don’t run faster than your shadow, if you wait out your growth period and learn all that God wants you to learn… When it’s time you will know. Don’t help God, Don’t FasTrack the process.
