JAMB Suspends 2020 ja
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended the continued registration workout for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 243 centres throughout the country.
The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday, in Lagos.
According to him, the suspension of the workout inside the affected centres is to permit the board to conduct a third-birthday celebration recruitment examination, scheduled for January 16.
“The reason for the suspension of the exercising inside the 243 centres national by the board is that the centres are in all likelihood going to be used for third-celebration recruitment exam and we do not want to create any overcrowding.
“However, the registration exercising will resume again in those centres national, on January 17.
“The board regrets any inconvenience the suspension would possibly have prompted the candidates,” he said.
Benjamin added that the list of the affected centres turned into at the board’s website.
