Jimmy Jatt: I struggled with severe kidney illness and lost my vision in 2020.
The well-known DJ jockey from Nigeria, Jimmy Jatt, has opened up about his health issues, which include losing one eye.
The disk jockey blamed his numerous trips in and out of Nigeria for his health problems in a recent interview on Rubbin Minds.
Jimmy Jatt claims that his health issues started in 2020 while he was in Nigeria during the shutdown. He disclosed that he had surgery to restore his vision after losing it in one eye.
He claimed to have been diagnosed with chronic renal illness in addition to his eye issues. He said that after receiving dialysis, he received a kidney transplant in 2022.
Perhaps I was the cause of it as I made the decision to go outside of Nigeria more in 2019. After spending my entire life in Lagos, he declared, “I wanted to travel to other places—Europe, America, everywhere.”
But I began to have health problems around 2020. I stayed in Nigeria because of the travel restrictions in place at the time. I had to have surgery to get my sight back after losing it. I moved to the United States after my recovery because I felt compelled to continue living somewhere else for a while. There, I was identified as having chronic renal disease.
I was receiving dialysis when I was in the United States. After some time, I went back to Nigeria and had a kidney transplant. I decided to take some time off to recuperate completely after the treatment. After being released, I departed Nigeria once more.
