Joeboy: All I want is to be that positive influence.
Nigerian musician Joseph Akinfenwa, better known by his stage name Joeboy, has declared his intention to serve as a positive influence on young Nigerians and his global fan base.
“I just want to be that source of positivity and that’s my message, that’s my motto – that’s always been for me, even before the fame,” he stated in a recent interview. The 26-year-old singer went on to discuss his current mental condition, stating, “Viva Lavida, the title of my new album, means living free, enjoying life, good vibrations, and good energy.” People frequently comment on how calming and everything my music is. I began expanding on the idea after one of my guys began referring to me as “Lavida Boy.” There will soon be a Lavida Festival, and I have begun holding Lavida sessions! There seems to be a lot of negativity in the world. Everyone is attempting to be toxic and to huff and puff.
In collaboration with his own record label, Young Legend, Nigerian singer and songwriter Joeboy has signed to Warner Music Africa.
