A former minister has urged the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, to issue a public apology to a Naval officer following their heated confrontation that has dominated online discussions in recent days. The incident, which reportedly occurred in Abuja, drew widespread attention after footage of the exchange surfaced on social media, showing a tense moment between the minister and the officer on official duty.
The ex-minister, while addressing the matter, condemned the altercation and stressed that public office holders must exhibit restraint, respect, and discipline, especially when dealing with uniformed service personnel.
