Leicester Finally Drops Maguire From Club’s Squad
Leicester City defender, Harry Maguire has been left out of the club’s squad to face Atalanta in a pre-season friendly clash on Friday night.
According to The Telegraph, the decision to omit Maguire from Leicester City’s squad to tackle the Serie A side tonight at the King Power Stadium was made following discussions between Leicester manager, Brendan Rodgers and the England international.
The newspaper is reporting that both Rodgers and Maguire had a mutual decision, adding that the 26-year-old’s state of mind was not right to feature for Leicester against Atalanta ahead of his potential move to Manchester United.
It was reported that Manchester United are said to be on the verge of completing a stunning €89million deal for Leicester City’s Harry Maguire.
Man United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is desperate to add Maguire to his squad as he looks to bolster his defence ahead of next season.
