Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), a seasoned Nollywood actor and filmmaker, has praised the federal government for its assistance to the creative sector.

He offered the praise during a courtesy call with Senator Kashim Shettima, the vice president of Nigeria, to talk about his solo film “Revelation” and to personally invite him to the premiere of his next film, “Radio Voice,” which is scheduled to open in Lagos in April 2025.During the meeting, RMD acknowledged the Vice President’s steadfast support for the sector and thanked him for being a driving force behind the Creative and Digital Economy.

Vice President Shettima responded by praising RMD’s outstanding achievements to the creative industry and emphasizing his crucial role in establishing Nigeria’s entertainment and film industries.

The vice president confirmed his commitment to bolstering Nigeria’s flourishing creative sector and kindly agreed to attend the film’s Lagos premiere.

Fegho Umunubo, Special Assistant to the President on Creative and Digital Economy, and other high-ranking government officials observed the motivational interaction, which improves the relationship between the government and the entertainment sector.

Nancy Isime, Deyemi Okanlawon, Timini Egbuson, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Damilola Adegbite, Blessing Nze, Blossom Chukwujekwu, and RMD himself are among the outstanding cast members of the upcoming movie “Radio Voice.”
