Mo Eazy Unveils His Deeply Spiritual and Transformative EP ‘Ibẹrẹ’—Featuring the Uplifting Lead Single ‘Teriba’

Award-winning Nigerian artist Mo Eazy just released his highly anticipated EP, Ibẹrẹ (meaning “beginning” in Yoruba). The project delves into themes of African identity, spiritual guidance, personal growth, and self-reflection, offering listeners a rich, cultural experience through his signature fusion of Afrobeats and Western musical influence.

At the heart of the EP is the lead single Teriba, a deeply spiritual track about resilience and dreams, blends affirmations and prayers, encouraging listeners to pursue their dreams while staying connected to their spirituality. Its powerful message and cultural depth make it perfect for moments of reflection and conscious thought, whether played in a group, in the car, or alone.

Whilst Teriba was produced with Prosper Mangoma who goes by the production name Sabroso, that isn’t the only notable name on Ibẹrẹ.

Ibẹrẹ also features fan-favorite tracks African Gangstar and African Juice, both of which have been heavily playlisted and featured in prominent publications, as well as Fall I Fall, Omo Ton So, and Make Am—rounding out a project that celebrates African heritage, joy, and the journey of personal development.

Mo Eazy, known for his impressive work as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, continues to cement his place in the Afrobeats and global music scenes with Ibẹrẹ. With a career that has seen him collaborate with African music giants like Runtown, Yemi Alade, and Darey Art Alade, and a growing portfolio of award-winning hits, Mo Eazy is poised to make Ibẹrẹ a standout project of 2024.

The extended play album lead single, Teriba, is a cultural and spiritual anthem, blending affirmations and prayers to inspire listeners to pursue their dreams while staying connected to their spiritual roots. With tracks like African Gangstar, African Juice, Fall I Fall, Omo Ton So, and Make Am, Ibẹrẹ showcases Mo Eazy’s signature fusion of Afrobeats and Western influences, celebrating African heritage and self-reflection.
