According to Naija News, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Seun Oloketuyi, the CEO of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, posted on his Instagram page to notify the death.
The actress’s sister verified her death, he added.
He wrote: “Monalisa Ayobami Stephen, a brand influencer, passed away yesterday in Lagos after losing the battle against low blood sugar and intestinal hemorrhage. Her immediate younger sister attested to the passing of this lovely and industrious person.
