Months after his kidney transplant failed, TG Omori is back at work.
After a botched kidney transplant, renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer ThankGod Omori Smith, commonly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has resumed his career.
“All right, let’s see if I can still rock this b***h,” he wrote.
After his only sibling donated for him, the music director underwent an unsuccessful kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos in August 2024, according to the Daily Sun.
Speaking from his hospital bed, he assured his admirers that he will make a comeback in 2025.
On Tuesday, Omori posted a picture of himself on a music video set with his camera to his X page, announcing his return.
