Following the success of the last two editions of the glamorous pageant held in 2014/15, the Downtown Promotion has returned to campus to organize the prestigious MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN LASU 2018. The pageant known for its glam and uniqueness is backafter 2 years break in conjunction with the Lagos State University Students’ Union(LASUSU) and is being managed by the Young Mindz Entertainment.

The beauty pageant recognizes and reward beautiful intelligent ladies on campus in a keenly contested show of beauty, talent, character and intelligence with a view to be global role models while adding value to their immediate society through impactful community projects.

This year edition themed “BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE” is scheduled to hold on Thursday, October 18th 2018, among other prizes. The event would be hosted by MC SHAKARA and Mildred. The event will also feature performances from A-list artist and comedians to be announced in a later date.

The past Queens Idowu Oluwatomisin and Yetunde Olasumbo have become role models in their chosen career of Beauty/Fashion and Film Production respectively.

The maiden Queen Idowu Oluwatomisin was nominated as the ‘Most Outstanding Campus Queen’ category at the Nigeria Goodswill Ambassadors Award 2014/15 for her various community projects on Campaign Against Rape, Clothe The Slum (Makoko), etc.
