Naira Marley posts conversations that disprove Iyabo Ojo’s assertion that they had never spoken.
On his Instagram account, Nigerian singer Naira Marley posted what seemed to be past exchanges with actress Iyabo Ojo.
The conversations, which take place in 2021 and 2022, reveal Ojo asking Marley to a number of occasions, such as her film debut and her late mother’s memorial celebration.
Ojo requests an invitation to Marley’s gig and indicates interest in going in the chats. She also asks Marley to help her adopted son, a singer, with his career.
Naira Marley’s earlier assertion that she and Iyabo Ojo had never met or spoken to one another is refuted by their shared communications.
After Mohbad, Marley’s former label signee, passed away, the two began to dispute. In September 2023, Mohbad passed away under unknown circumstances.
The actress and Marley had a public argument as a result of the actress’s support for justice for Mohbad.
Marley claimed that Ojo was responsible for Mohbad’s death and requested N500 million in damages from him in December 2024.
