Nobody would be aware if I broke up with my wife – Charly Boy
Nigerian celebrities have been encouraged by maverick singer Charles Oputa, better known by his stage name Charly Boy, to refrain from making their personal life public.
In a recent interview with TVC, he responded to the marriage crisis of Nigerian power couple Annie Idibia and 2Baba by offering the advice.
The septuagenarian boasted that if he were to divorce his wife, no one would know.
“I feel bad for Annie Idibia and 2Face as a couple. It is regrettable. However, I would suggest that we simply keep our business confidential and out of the public eye.
Although social media has altered significantly, people still have a say in the matter. I’m not speaking in a pious manner. My boyfriend and I have argued, but we work things out in private.
“To settle, you don’t take it out into the open. That seems incorrect to me because no one would be aware if I stopped going out with my wife today. “I’m going to keep quiet about it,” he declared.
