Nollywood actress Mama Ereko said, “I Refused To Remarry Because Of The Stress Of Intercourse.”
According to Morenike Alausa, a seasoned Nollywood actress better known by her stage name Mama Ereko, she declined to get married again due to stress.
The actress revealed in her most recent interview on Talk2Dunnis TV on YouTube that she chose not to get married again in order to preserve her youthful appearance.
The physical, emotional, and sexual demands of marriage can hasten women’s aging, she said, while highlighting the stress that comes with marriage.

Because the stress of sexual activity makes people appear older than they actually are, I chose not to get married again. I’ve already matured into a man, therefore I don’t need one more. I no longer even remember what it’s like to have sex.
Mama Ereko, meanwhile, has talked about some painful events that happened during her marriage to her late husband.
The actress revealed that her late husband had emotionally assaulted her in an interview with Talk2dunnis TV.
She bemoaned the fact that she too had to put up with his adultery, stating that even in her presence, he would bring his women home.
Her husband’s mistresses would frequently stay overnight at their house, so she remembered being sent on errands to make room for them.
However, Mama Ereko claimed that she was afraid of him and hence was unable to oppose him.
“My husband would occasionally send me on an errand because his girlfriend wanted to visit him at our house,” she added.
“My spouse would sleep in our house when he brought his girlfriend home.
“Normally, I get upset, but I can’t argue with my husband because I’ve always been scared of him.”
