Nollywood is not supported by musicians, according to actor Timini Egbuson.

Timini Egbuson, an award-winning actor, has stated that the music industry does not support Nollywood in a manner that is appropriate.

He claims that when Nollywood performers help their peers in the music business, the favor is not returned.

This was stated in an X post on Saturday by Egbuson, whose most recent film, Reel Love, is now generating a lot of buzz.
“I wish musicians would support Nollywood the way we do,” he remarked, “but that’s a discussion for another time.”

On Valentine’s Day, Reel Love debuted in theaters and made N40.5 million on its first day.
The romantic drama film, which was made by Egbuson and directed by Kayode Kasum, narrates the tale of Rachel, an entrepreneur, and Tomide, a social media influencer, who ultimately fall in love after initial hostilities.

Reel Love was written by Ife Olujuyigbe.
