NURTW suspends Kunle Poly over APC rally violence, MC Oluomo’s stabbing
The national leadership of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has suspended one of its leaders in Lagos, Azeez Lawal, popularly called Kunle Poly.
NURTW President, Najeem Yasin, announced the suspension of the union official after a five-hour meeting with the Lagos state Executive and elders of the union.
His suspension was connected to the crisis that occures at the flag off rally of the the All Progressives’ Congress rally in Lagos.
At the last week’s rally in Ikeja, no fewer that five people were killed with many securing injury.
Musiliu Akinsanya, known famously as MC Olu Omo, was also stabbed.
