Okoya’s son alleged naira abuse has police under criticism

The arrest of an officer who was shown in a widely shared video with the kids of billionaire businessman Razaq Okoya has drawn a lot of criticism on the Nigeria Police Force.

As one of Okoya’s kids promoted his new song “Credit Alert,” the officer was seen on camera assisting him in carrying bundles of cash.
Many are wondering why the Okoya brothers, who are accused of misusing the naira, are not receiving the same punishment.

In 2024, Bobrisky, a crossdresser, was punished and prosecuted with Naira mutilation.

Social media is incensed about the police statement denouncing the officer’s behavior and threatening disciplinary action.

“They should release the poor man and take legal actions against Naira abuse,” said one Olamide_15.

“And the billionaire sons you claim are abusing Naira?” asked one Ego Umez. What will occur? I don’t see any misuse of the Naira here, though.

“No, the policeman mistreated the Naira?” inquired one Morsh101. Who will be held accountable for misusing the so-called Naira?

“What about the boy who committed the crime?” one Pattie2 wrote.

“The son of a rich man abuses money, and you are punishing the police officer assigned to the boy for carrying out his job,” said Sean Awofodu-Johnson. It’s a cowardly act, huh? Why not arrest Okoya’s son for financial abuse, or is he above the law because he receives money? Ire o, please attempt to have money because it stops stupidity in Nigeria.
