Olajumoke Ashabi: “I control fame, not the other way around.”
Olajumoke Ashabi, a Nollywood actress, has stated that she is loyal to herself and that celebrity does not define her.
The attractive actress recently talked about her ideas on job progression, stardom, and misconceptions about actresses in an interview with Pot-Pourri.
She responded, “I rule over fame, not the other way around,” when asked how she manages the demands of fandom.I remain true to who I am.
Ashabi acknowledged that although she is pleased with her current path, she is still not where she wants to be.
Naturally, I’m not happy with my current situation, but I’m relieved that I’m not where I was before. She remarked, “I am a work in progress.”
The gifted role interpreter known for her role in Omo Posh also expressed her opinion over the misconception that actors are the same as the roles they portray on screen.
It’s heartbreaking, to be honest. Why would anyone evaluate performers according to their film roles? Frequently, their on-screen demeanor differs greatly from their off-screen image. “Acting is just pretend,” she said. “The road to success is crooked,” she advised young women who wanted to work in Nollywood. She suggested being focused, resolute, but not desperate.
