Out of 150k, Over 94,000 People Sign Petition For President Buhari To Be Charged With Crimes Against Humanity
The petition was started by a solicitor known as Kayode Ogunfeibo in relation to the killings of the unarmed protesters at Lekki toll gate last night by the Nigerian Army.
According to him, President Buhari should be charged for the heinous crime together with the Army Chief of Staff General Buratai and all people connected to the shooting incidence.
“Today in Lagos Nigeria, the Nigerian Army started shooting peaceful protesters at Lekki Toll Gate. This is the latest in a long series of human rights abuses in Nigeria and as the Head of State of Nigeria President Mohammadu Buhari should be held directly responsible for this heinous crime against humanity. Under no circumstances should civilians be shot by soldiers in a civilized world and the perpetrators including the Army Chief of Staff General Buratai should be brought to justice.
