Prime Boy Sues Mohbad’s Mother Over Alleged Defamation
The late musician Mohbad’s best friend, Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Prime Boy, has sued Mohbad’s mother, Abosede Adeyemo, for allegedly defamatory remarks.
On his Instagram feed, Prime Boy posted the court filing from Lagos State’s High Court in Ikeja.
Prime Boy filed a lawsuit against Abosede for allegedly uttering defamatory and hurtful comments about him during a video interview on March 28, 2024.
The February 12, 2025, paper claims that Abosede’s remarks, which appeared in a number of news outlets, were intended to discredit him in the eyes of the public.
Mohbad’s mother is also accountable for “N50 million in damages for libelous, injurious, false, and malicious statements made on the 28th of March, 2024,” according to Prime Boy.
