“The Organised Private Sector (OPS) says it can’t afford to pay the new minimum wage of N70,000 announced by the government without help. After President Bola Tinubu approved the new wage, the OPS spokesperson, Adewale-Smatt Oyerinde, said: “We appreciate the President’s decision, but we need support to pay this new wage. We’re glad he promised to help us and state governments with this.”
