PUNCHLINE LIVE 3.0 – MY BEST WORK YET
Mayowa Ibidapo Amund, performing as Punchline Amund, is a talented music artiste from the vibrant streets of Agege in Lagos, Nigeria and a graduate of the esteemed Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Starting his career early in his university days, Punchline has 2 solid projects “Diary of A College Boy” and “Posh Agege Boy EP” to his name and has bagged collaborations with notable acts like MI Abaga, Cobhams Asuquo, Magnito amongst others. These songs have garnered over well over a million views and streams combined.
In 2018, he began garnering widespread recognition with his cover of One Hit with Cobhams Asuquo. In 2019, he featured Magnito on his song “Hustle O!. In 2021 he released Posh Agege Boy EP which went on to receive rave reviews and earning a remarkable score of 9.8 on Pulse.
In 2022, he came second in the Boomplay Pass The Mic competition and scored a collaboration with MI Abaga and later in the year hosted the first edition of Punchline Live.
With an impressive decade-long track record in the industry, Punchline Amund has continually captivated fans with his compelling storytelling, clever lyricism, and electrifying stage performances.
Punchline Live 1, the inaugural edition, took place in October, 2022, at the prestigious Adenuga Centre/Alliance Francaise in Ikoyi. The second edition took place also at the same venue a year after. Both events were skillfully hosted by renowned comedians OmoBaba No 1 and Kojah Kaze.
Both events witnessed captivating performances by Cobhams Asuquo, Dotti The Deity, Ovy Godwin, Makinde David,
Madam Saje, Gbenga Adeyinka and a few other prominent figures in the entertainment industry.
This year’s edition is set to hold on the 8th of December at the prestigious Mike Adenuga Centre/Alliance Francais Ikoyi and it promises to be even better.
