‘I have talked about playing for Real Madrid forever, but if I have to go down to Castilla then I do not have a problem either – I have to be humble,’ Rodrygo said, according to Marca.
Real Madrid Castilla is the reserve team playing in the Segunda Division B, the third tier of Spanish football.
Rodrygo who will be competing with the likes of Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Luka Jovic, and Eden Hazard for a spot in the team’s attack also added:
‘[Hazard] is a player that I always followed. I had him in the lock screen of my mobile. And now I will be able to play with him! And with Benzema and Vinicius, who are two phenomenons.’
