“Revelations” by Richard Mofe-Damijo and Son Oghenetega wins big at the Utah International Film Festival.
With his most recent film, “Revelations,” renowned actor and Nigerian cinema star Richard Mofe-Damijo is adding yet another feather to his cap. At the Utah International Film Festival, where it screened over the weekend, the film has already won an astounding array of awards, including Best International Film and Best Actor for Mofe-Damijo’s performance.
In addition to starring in the film, the multi-talented actor co-wrote and served as executive producer. Chioma Akpotha, Nnamdi Kanaga, and foreign performers Tanya Price, Ryon Thomas, Albert Simpson, Alex Boyé, and many more are featured in “Revelations,” which was filmed in Lagos and Utah, a state in the western United States. Enhancing the project’s uniqueness,
Oghenetega Mofe-Damijo, who follows in his father’s footsteps, also joins the cast and assumes a prominent role.
The movie also won several accolades at the festival, including Best Supporting Actor (Honourable Mention for Oghenetega Mofe-Damijo), Best Country Song (Alex Boyé), and Best Producer (Tanya Price). An Honorable Mention for Best Ensemble Cast was also given to it.
