Saudi Arabia Announces August 11th As First Day Of Eid Al-adha
Saudi Arabia has announced August 11th as the first day of the Eid al-Adha, one of the Muslims’ annual holy festivals.

An observatory in Saudi Arabia said on Thursday that the crescent for the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar Zul Hijjah was sighted which will mean August 2nd will be the first day of the Islamic month, as reported by Khaleej Times.
During the religious holiday, the majority of the private and public offices across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region are closed.
Eid al-Adha is one of the two main feasts in Islam. It is celebrated on the 10th day of Zul Hijjah.
