Nollywood Actor Monsuru Ayanfe Speaks on Funke Akindele’s On-Set Behaviour
Nollywood actor Monsuru Ayanfe has opened up about his experience working with award-winning filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele, describing her as a highly talented personality who, however, gets angry easily during movie productions.
In a recent interview, Ayanfe explained that while some may misinterpret Akindele’s temperament, her actions are rooted in her passion for excellence on set. According to him, she has little tolerance for mistakes, which sometimes makes her appear strict or easily irritated.
“Funke Akindele is very serious about her craft. She doesn’t like laziness or unseriousness during filming, so she can easily get angry if things don’t go as planned. But at the end of the day, it’s all because she wants the best,” he said.
The actor, who has worked with several top Nollywood stars, also emphasized that Akindele’s drive has contributed to her massive success in the movie industry, including record-breaking films like Battle on Buka Street and A Tribe Called Judah.
