Solskjaer: Winning Has Mended Team Spirit
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says their recent winning run has helped mend the team spirit, that was not altogether under Mourinho.
The Norwegian manager has overseen eight wins in a row for the club since his appointment, to put them in contention for Champions League qualification.
Should Solskjaer win their fixture against Burnley, it will make him the first manager in the Premier League to have won his first seven games, surpassing records of six wins set by Ancelotti and Guardiola at Chelsea and City respectively.
“When you’re winning games of football, you’re always going to have a good team spirit around the place,” he told United’s official website. “But that doesn’t just apply to the players, it’s the staff as well.
“When you come in on Monday morning, it’s well done and on to the next one. Don’t dwell too much on what’s happened because the focus is on the next one. I feel the whole club is thinking ‘next game, next game’ but of course you always enjoy winning.”
