2019 Presidency: Why Buhari, Atiku Both Postponed Rallies In Kano Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has postponed his rally that was to hold on Wednesday, January 23 in Kano State. According to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s media aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the state has “become the battleground of 2019 elections”. Atiku reportedly moved his rally until after that of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari.
