Tems Gives a Live Performance to Unveil Aston Martin’s New Race Car
At London’s O2 Arena, Tems performed live to reveal Aston Martin’s 2025 Formula One vehicle.
Last night, at Formula 1’s special launch event at The O2 Arena in London, Aston Martin unveiled their stunning new livery, and Tems, the superstar from Nigeria, made an amazing start to the season for the team.
The Grammy Award-winning singer’s 2022 single “Higher,” which is taken from her 2020 debut EP “For Broken Ears,” launched Aston Martin’s new racing green rival. In 2022, the song became well-known throughout the world after being sampled in Drake and Future’s Grammy-winning song “Wait For U.”
With a live ensemble of violinists, trumpeters, and saxophonists, Tems presented a short yet soulful rendition of ‘Higher’ while Aston Martin’s new race vehicle made its way onto the stage in a slow unveiling. Later, Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, who were teammates at Aston Martin, joined her.
All ten Formula 1 teams unveiled their new designs for the 2025 season at the 2025 livery launch. Among these, Ferrari caused a stir when teammate Charles Leclerc and recently signed driver Lewis Hamilton walked the stage to present the team’s newest rival to the world.
