Tinubu Urges Nigerians in Japan to Support Nation’s Growth
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerians living in Japan to actively support the nation’s development by fostering unity, patriotism, and economic contributions that strengthen Nigeria’s global standing.
Speaking during an interactive session with members of the Nigerian community in Japan, Tinubu emphasized the crucial role of the diaspora in nation-building. He highlighted that Nigerians abroad are not just ambassadors of culture and identity but also vital partners in boosting Nigeria’s economy through investments, remittances, and innovation.
Tinubu reassured the diaspora community that his administration remains committed to creating a more stable economy and improving governance. He called on Nigerians in Japan to seize investment opportunities back home, noting that the federal government is working to provide enabling environments for businesses and industries to thrive.
The President also encouraged the community to uphold Nigeria’s image abroad by showcasing integrity, hard work, and unity. He further stressed that collective efforts, both at home and in the diaspora, are essential to achieving the nation’s long-term growth.
The session ended with an appeal for continued cooperation and a reminder that Nigeria’s progress depends on contributions from every citizen, regardless of where they reside.
