TMAQTALK MEET OLUWATOSINDOZ
Introduce your self to your fans?
My name is Oluwatosin Adebiyi Osifeso
Education background
How did it all start?
I attended Modern Day School, Martin College and University of Lagos where I bagged a 2nd Class Upper Degree in Business Administration.
I actually started in Unilag. I was the Assistant Music Director in my Fellowship (CELELAG) then (2013-2014) Then in 2014, we launched our Maiden album in 2014. That’s where it all began…
How has the journey been so far?
The journey has been very steady for me because I haven’t put too much pressure on myself. I know that at the right time, I’ll get to where God is taking me. I don’t have to rush or hurry too much.
Who are your mentors?
I have few mentors: My Husband – Ezekiel Osifeso and My Church Music Director: Olamide Erinle. In the Music Industry, I love Sola Allyson, Tope Alabi, TY Bello, Lara George, Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Don Moen, Tasha Cobbs and the likes. I learn a lot from the lyrics of their songs. They inspire me with their songs as well as some of their lifestyles.
What are the challenges you face as a gospel and female artist?
Hmm, As a Gospel artist first of all, that tag – “Gospel Artist or Song” in itself is a challenge because our Environment and society tend to segregate some kind of music which shouldn’t be. Once a song inspires, it should be aired and given leverage like other songs. People tend to confuse genre with content or message; the song is first “music” before the message.
As a Female Artist, there’s really no serious challenge I can speak about.
Word of inspiration to the up and coming artist?
Well, I am also Up and coming myself. But I would just say this: There’s no need to rush things, just Trust God for Direction!
What should we expect from you?
An Album soon God willing.
What are your hobbies?
Apart from singing, I like to make hair, read and watch movies.
In the next five years were do you see yourself.
In the next Five years, I trust God to have established me fully in the Music Industry blessing lives.
Thank you for stopping by.
