It has been revealed that Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker will now take home a combined £33million after their fight yesterday.
Joshua, 28, defended his WBA and IBF belts and added Parker’s WBO heavyweight title to his list of achievements.
Joshua, who fought on home turf as the headline boxer, took home a bigger chunk of the of the windfall, reportedly thought to be around £18-20million.
Parker, meanwhile, is estimated to receive around £13million from the bout.
The staggering sums include sponsorship deal revenue and pay-per-view fees collected by Sky Sports Box Office, which is showing the fight live.
Parker, from New Zealand, earned £1.3 million for successfully defending his title against Hughie Fury last September.
A £10million fee was handed to Joshua for his victory over late replacement Carlos Takam last year.
Joshua could land an even bigger fee if he faces Deontay Wilder later this year.
WBC champ Wilder said he hopes Joshua will challenge him following tonight’s fight.
“People want to hear what the fighters say, not what the promoters say,” the outspoken American told Sky Sports.
